WBFF Fox 45 :: Sherriff's Deputies Pursuit Ends in Multi-Car Wreck
A wild afternoon in Rutherford County leads to a police chase and several wrecked cars. A spokesperson with the Rutherford County Sheriffs Department tells us Landoren Trammer, 47, of Walter Hill allegedly locked his girlfriend in a closet then stole her truck and wallet. The girls 11-year-old son called 911 for help.

A short time later Sherrifs Deputy Derrick McCullough spotted the truck at the intersection of Memorial Boulevard and Compton Road and immediately gave pursuit. Officers chased the truck past Northfield Boulevard, Lascassas Pike and Middle Tennessee Boulevard. Trammer then tossed out a handgun and his girlfriends wallet, said police.
He was just driving erratically, Deputy McCullough said. He disregarded the safety of other citizens.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Bennie Jennings witnessed Trammer sideswipe a Jeep and a Saturn near MTSUs Murphy Center. The drivers of those cars were uninjured, according to a statement from the Rutherford County Sherriffs Department.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured in the apprehension, said Trooper OGwynn with the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

After wrecking his car, Trammer left the scene on foot. A short chase ensued and Tramemr surrendered to police. Trammer was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

Officers and K-9 units located a loaded .357 revolver on Lascassas Pike, noted a spokesperson with the Sherriffs department.

Trammer faces a long list of charges including aggravated assault, evading arrest, and driving on a revoked license. Trammer was charged with domestic assault in 2011 and evading arrest in 2009.Sherriff's Deputies Pursuit Ends in Multi-Car Wreck

There's no word yet on who won.

A Powerball ticket sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Fla., matched all six numbers selected Saturday night for the estimated $590.5 million prize. It's the highest Powerball jackpot in history.
