Just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, a masked man, who insinuated that he was armed, demanded money from the clerk at the Delta Express at the 5700 block of Old Hickory Blvd, according to Metro Police. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Detectives on scene say that this is the third time that the location has been robbed since Friday.
Surveillance video provided to FOX 17 News from the store last week led police to the arrest of 36-year-old Rajesh Stone who is booked into Metro jail on robbery and drug charges. His bond is set at $76,000.

Rebar finishing will add 40 jobs in Knox County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Another 40 jobs are coming to Knox County as Gerdau (gair-DOW') expands its steel reinforcement bar plant.
The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development says the new facility will apply finishing services to rebar now made at the company's Lonsdale mill.
TDEC Commissioner Bill Hagerty and Gerdau officials announced the expansion on Monday, saying the plant will have the capacity to finish about 120,000 tons of steel per year.
Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett said it was good to see a vacant building in the WestBridge Business Park be put back into industrial use.
