One man is behind bars this morning after police claimed he almost killed a women.
Christopher Selby, 27, is charged with attempted Murder. According to court records just before 4:30 am Tuesday morning, Selby grabbed a woman and held her by her arms over the 3rd floor breezeway railing at the Tulip Grove Apartments in Hermitage. The woman was begging Selby to pull her back in when police arrived. One officer testified that he pull out his gun and order Selby to pull the woman back in. Selby complied and authorities arrested him. Officers say the drop would have been 45 feet. Shelby is in the Metro jail this morning on a one hundred thousand dollars bond.

Couple's bodies found in their Blount County home

LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Blount (blunt) County sheriff's office says preliminary results of autopsies on the bodies of a couple found dead in their home in Louisville (LEW'-ihs-vil) show their deaths are consistent with murder-suicide.
Marian O'Briant said in an email that it appears 54-year-old Steven Adkins shot 53-year-old Rebecca Adkins, then shot himself.
O'Briant said a family member found the bodies Sunday night. It wasn't clear how long they had been dead.
