It s a stressful feeling to realize you forgot someone or something on your list, which is why last-minute shoppers like Waku Nwani made a mad dash to the Mall at Green Hills Monday night.

"I'm getting some last minute things," Nwani said.  "I had to get some more things for my girlfriend."

Nwani didn't get his shopping done early, but Monday night at the Mall at Green Hills, he made darn sure he wasn't late.

"I had to work today but I left work early to come out here and make sure I got that taken care of because she's special," Nwani said.

And he wasn't the only one.  Families came in all afternoon, to get their pictures with Santa and hunt for those last-minute gifts, which is great for business at stores like BCBG.

"Obviously the sales are going to be a lot higher," said Liz Sharpe, BCBG employee.  "The traffic is more frequent.  A lot of people coming in at once."

"What a great buzz," said Vincent Mellado, the mall's general manager.  "There's no better place in the world to be than here at the Mall at Green Hills during the holidays."

Mellado said this year, the staff has stepped up efforts to get last minute shoppers in and out more easily.

"We offer complimentary valet parking to all of our guests and we also have plenty of traffic directors in all of our parking garages to make sure people get easily into the shopping center as well as easily get out," Mellado said.

Nick Hawn, his wife and their 19-month-old son, saw the difference.

"Flow seemed fairly smooth," Hawn said.  "A lot less traffic than I was expecting coming out here today."

And as for the Nwani, the boyfriend on a mission, he said those efforts made it that much easier for him to give his girlfriend the perfect gift on Christmas morning.

"Mission accomplished," Nwani said as he walked out the door bags in hand.
