18-year-old Ronald McCallum was developed as one of two suspects in the murder of Abanzer Tsegaye, and was arrested and booked on homicide charges on Thursday afternoon.
The victim walked to the front passenger side window handed $20 dollars to the right front passenger, according to police. The suspect then began firing the pistol at the victim and his friend. The victim and his friend began to run as they were being shot at. The victim was struck and the suspect vehicle sped away.
Tsegaye was transported by private vehicle to Southern Hills Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
McCallum was entered into a photo lineup and was shown to the surviving friends of the victim. Witnesses viewed the lineup and positively identified McCallum as being one of the suspects they met.
McCallum is being held on $512,000 bond.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
