driving on Bradyville Pike. Two years later he was acquitted of
vehicular homicide, tampering with evidence and filing a false report in
connection with the case. On Tuesday Killings was charged with
aggravated domestic assault for allegedly hitting and choking his
girlfriend. According to a police report filed by Stephanie Barrett,
Killings took her cell phone and got angry over text messages to another
man. Killings was arrested and placed on a twelve hour hold in the
Rutherford County Detention Center. Lakeisha White's family was unhappy
with the acquittal in the vehicular homicide trial. They're hoping for a
different outcome in the domestic assault case. In a written statement Stephanie Barrett says, "Ron is not a bad person, he just made a bad
decision. My hope is that he takes responsibility for his actions and
gets the help he needs."

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
