LaVergne Opens a New Police Substation - Erika Lathon
Lavergne Police are stepping up their crime fighting efforts in one neighborhood.
With more than thirty five hundred homes, Lake Forest is one of the State's largest subdivisions.
Last summer the area was plagued by arson fires, burglaries and several shootings.
This week Lavergne Police moved a new substation into the area.
Police Chief Ted Boyd says while the substation will bring a greater police presence, it won't be enough to stop all criminal activity.
