3 Questioned In Vandy Professor's Slaying
Metro police have taken three "persons of interest" into custody to question in the murder case of Pierre Colas, a Vanderbilt University professor who was shot dead in his home.
Police say the three were taken into custody Friday morning and are being interviewed. No charges have been filed.
Detectives say it looks as though Colas and his sister, Marie, were victims of a robbery attempt when they were both found shot at his home on McFarrin Avenue Tuesday night.
His sister was shot in the head and remains in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A candlelight vigil is planned in remembrance of Colas Saturday evening. The vigil will be held at his home located at 921 McFarrin Avenue at 6 p.m.3 Questioned In Vandy Professor's Slaying
