Armed Suspect Targets Motel
Metro police are searching for the man who they say robbed a Hermitage motel Monday night.
Captain Randy Hickerson, with Metro police, said just before 10, an armed man walked into the Motel 6 located on Old Hickory Boulevard and demanded money from the clerk.
Hickerson said when the clerk handed money over to the suspect, he then fled on foot. The direction of flight is unknown.
No one was injured in the robbery. Hickerson said the victim described the suspect as a white male, around 5'6", wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, with a black bandanna on his head, and a blue bandanna across his face.
