Mapco Robbed Twice In 1 Week
A local Nashville business is robbed for the second time in a week.
Metro police Captain Randy Hickerson said the Mapco station located at 465 Donelson Pike was robbed shortly before 4 a.m. Monday.
Hickerson said a man walked into the business armed with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The employee handed money from inside the register to the suspect, who then took off.
Hickerson described the suspect as a white male, in his early 20's, around 6'0 feet tall, wearing camel shorts, a black tank top and a white bandanna on his face.
Surveillance video from the store will be available later Monday afternoon.
No one was hurt in the robbery, but some concerns may arise since this is the second time the business is targeted by robbers just within a few days.
Police are searching for the suspect and have not said if they think the robberies are connected.Mapco Robbed Twice In 1 Week
