Election Preview - Erika Kurre
Chances are there won't be much of a wait at Davidson County polls for the state primary and county general election.
Voter turnout so far is among record lows.
Some voters in Davidson County don't even know there is an election and others just are not interested.
Only 25,000 of Davidson County's 285,000 active voters are expected to cast their ballots by the time the polls close at 7 pm Thursday.
Election officials say the stolen laptops from the commission in December has no effect on the turnout for this election.
In fact 19,000 Davidson County residents have registered to vote since then.
