SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Tony Parker had 20 points and nine assists, Kawhi Leonard scored 18 points and the San Antonio Spurs struck first in the Western Conference finals by beating the Memphis Grizzlies 105-83 Sunday. Game 2 is Tuesday night in San Antonio.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Freddy Galvis and Erik Kratz each homered off closer Aroldis Chapman in the bottom of the ninth innings Sunday, rallying the Philadelphia Phillies past the Cincinnati Reds for a stunning 3-2 victory. Chapman blew his second straight save opportunity after converting his first eight chances this season.
ATLANTA (AP) -- Ramiro Pena had a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in a four-run eighth inning, Jordan Schafer drove in two runs and the Atlanta Braves rallied against the Los Angeles Dodgers' beleaguered bullpen for a 5-2 victory on a rain-soaked Sunday. Kenley Jansen was the loser for the second straight game, this time allowing one hit, two runs and a walk while getting just one out in a game twice delayed by rain.
