Get Fit Tennessee

It's not a statistic state health officials are proud of.

Forbes Magazine named Nashville the heaviest city among fifty it compared with 68 percent of our population overweight or obese.

"Get Fit Tennessee", a state-wide effort to reduce obesity and diabetes locally, is sponsoring a fitness event tomorrow that may help.

Anyone can join the "Get Fit" crew on the field tomorrow and get fifteen dollar tickets to the game.

But you have to get them online.

Go to the Vanderbilt website at www.vucommodores.com, click on buy tickets, then enter "get fit" as the promotion code.
