Franklin Police say they are hoping that residential surveillance video will help put two burglars behind bars. Officers tell us just after noon on October 5, a homeowner in the 300 block of Mill Pond Circle, in the Jackson Lake Subdivision, returned home to find that his residence had been burglarized. In the short amount of time that he had been gone, burglars pried open his front door and stole more than $50,000 in jewelry and designer handbags. The getaway vehicle, believed to be a white SUV, was caught by the private video surveillance system of a nearby home.
