WZTV FOX17 :: And Then There Were 8: Paul Jolley Goes Home
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Now there are 8, as your votes send another singer packing on American Idol. Paul Jolley, one of our Nashville contestants, was in the bottom 3, and unfortunately Paul is going home. Joining us to talk about America's vote is well-known Nashville vocal coach Brett Manning. It's always great to have him with us. Paul sang a Heart song for the judge's save. Jimmy Iovine said he didn't think Paul was ready for prime time. That suggests he might still make it, and just needs a little more time. Kree Harrison is one of our local ladies. Kree told us 2 nights ago she was battling some sinus problems. The judges said Candice Glover's was the performance of the night. She certainly has a presence on the stage and a big voice. Kree Harrison and Janell Arthur are both safe for another week. Paul Jolley is headed back to Music City. We'll be talking to him very soon, and he will get to tour with the top 10 this summer. Thanks to Brett for weighing in.
