Hayes told us that he actually co-wrote the song as a love letter to a girl. He says he can't believe he's living this moment! "I have been to a lot of these for my hero's and now I'm here with them and getting to talk about something I love to do. It feels kind of funny and you almost feel guilty because I love it so much. I don't feel deserving, but I am so excited we get to celebrate the success of a song that was just a song I loved writing and loved to play" says Hayes
Hayes is on tour with Carrie Underwood and working on his Sophomore album.
