A new wave of reality television has come to Fox.
" It's very difficult but they are talented in all aspects, put it together, hats off to them" says Olympic Diver Troy Dumais
Stars In Danger features nine familiar faces. Everyone from a super model, to reality stars and a football pro are stepping out of their comfort zone and into deep water!
"Black people and water don't mix! It was a struggle" laughs Professional Athlete Terrell Owens.
A reality diving show has never been done in the US, but the shows producers say it's a huge hit in other countries, "Our show has been done in Germany since 2004 kicking ourselves why didn't do this before"
The cast says they quickly realized a lot more goes into the sport than what we see on the Olympics.
"None of us realized what we got into until a week in. Had a lot of hot tub talk like what are we doing here" says Owens.
Before they walk the plank and dive, or should I say belly flop in, they must train. It's a crash course in diving techniques overseen by the best.
"We crammed in 20 years of diving in like 2 weeks" says Owens.
"We only had 9 days to train and had to learn 3 dives to perform competitive" says supermodel Antonio Sabato JR.
But with all the pain and bruising comes some life lessons as well!
"They got to see ups and downs but also got to see that it is a family sport. No matter who won, who lost, who missed, who hit - everyone was excited" says Dumais.
