We're wrappign up another money saving week with FREEBIE FRIDAY, starting with a free health event for women. It's tomorrow from 10am-2pm at Kipp Academy in Nashville. The group, All About Women, is offering free bone density, blood pressure and blood sugar testsw. Women can also schedule free breast and cervical screenings for early detection of cancer.
The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring is celebrating the Chinese New Year with a free day February 3. There will be a Lion Dance, Chinese New Year crafts and traditional Chinese food all free from 4-7.
Tax day will be here before you know it and if you need help preparing your taxes, there are a few place willing to help. St. Luke's Community House is offering free tax preparation if you meet certain income requirements. Call 350-7893.
In Clarksville, the AARP is set up to help at the Ajax Turner Senior Center. Call (931) 648-1345.
Free tax help is available from February 1-April 11.
