Meningitis Outbreak
TN Department of Health just updated the media on their investigation into a fungal meningitis outbreak.
TN now has 29 people who have reported sickness while 3 deaths have been confirmed.
Experts say the evidence is a product tissue related to steroid shots given at pain clinics.
New information today indicates vials were likely contaminated with more than just aspergillus.
Incubation period ranges from one to four weeks.
We have a team at the briefing and will continue to update information as we get it online and on facebook and twitter.
The state says it is to early to tell how many deaths will be attributed to this outbreak.
