As the number of Meningitis cases continues to rise, health officials want to make one thing clear: they say the evidence indicates this is a product issue. The indictable steroid medication from New England Compounding Center was distributed to 23 states and has been linked to Meningitis outbreaks in at least 7. Under a microscope, the FDA found traces of at least one type of fungus.
