Saving You Money: Free Tax Help
I'm Saving You Money tonight on free tax help. It's that time of year to start thinking about preparing your return.
If your family makes less than $62,000 dollars a year, you qualify for free tax preparation through April 15th.
It's being offered at the Fairview Public Library on Tuesdays from 2-6pm and Saturdays from 9-1pm--- also at Fifty Forward in College Grove from 9-12 on Thursdays.
Graceworks in Franklin is offering the free help 9-4 Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as the Williamson County Library from 9-12 Mondays, 3:30 - 7:30 Wednesdays & 9-12:30 on Saturdays. This is a program of the United Way. Check with the United Way in your county for other similar tax preparation programs.
Flying somewhere for spring break?
You'll be glad to know American Airlines is bringing back free snacks.
The airline got rid of complimentary snacks in 2003.
The airline is also offering free movies, TV shows and music in seats that have TV's.
Airlines are seeing record profits because of lower oil prices, so this is American's way of passing on some savings.
