Freebie Friday: Live music, Cheekwood In Bloom, bowling
Come on down to Cumberland Park Saturday April 23 for Relay Live. It sounds like a race, but it's really a free music fest put on by the American Cancer Society. It features live music all day from 11am - 9pm right on the riverfront. The event raises money for cancer research through food sales, contests, and games.... but again the music is free and features 12 artists entertaining the crowd all day long. I'll be there tomorrow kicking things off and I hope to see you there.
Cheekwood is also letting you in free. The botanical garden is observing National Public Gardens day by letting you in free on May 6th. The event is designed to raise awareness about public gardens.
All you have to do is print the free admission coupon from the national public gardens website and bring it with you. Click here for the link to get the coupon.
How about some free bowling? A new entertainment venue is coming to Cool Spring May second.
It's called Kings Bowl and the first 250 people through the doors get free bowling for a year.
This new venue has 25 thousand square feet of space with a made from scratch kitchen, live music and a sports bar. That grand opening and free bowling opportunity for a year is May second at 5 p.m.
