Women hospitalized after shootout at Nashville Walgreens
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Two women have been hospitalized after an apparent shootout on Thursday night at a Nashville Walgreens.
According to police, officers responded to a shots fired call at the Walgreens located at 1801 Murfreesboro Road. When officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting but no victims.
A short time later, one woman showed up at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her buttocks. Another woman later showed up to the VA Hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound to her stomach. She was then transferred to VUMC.
Detectives are working to determine the exact events, but believe the two women were the only ones involved in the shooting.
