Woman found with baby bottles, liquid narcotic 'lean' and 392 Xanax bars
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Police responding to a shots fired and robbery call wound up arresting the victim after she was found with Xanax bars and the street drug "lean."
According to the arrest affidavit for Margarita Owens, officers responded to an Ed Temple Blvd. apartment and observed Owens pick up a baggie of Xanax bars and stuff them into her bra and underwear.
Police say the baggie contained 392 Xanax bars separately packaged in 100 unit baggies.
During a search of the residence, police say they found multiple baby bottles and two large containers, one containing red liquid and the other a green liquid. Owens told police the liquids were called "lean," a narcotic comprised of promethazine (a strong sedative) and Codeine.
Police say Owens admitted she was going to sell the Xanax and "lean" to make money to pay rent.
