Woman, boyfriend arrested after alleged shooting in front of little boy
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A Nashville man and woman have been arrested on charges of aggravated assault after the man allegedly shot two other people in front of a four-year-old child.
According to the arrest affidavits for Destinee Rock and Christopher Flinn, the shooting took place at a home on Palmer Avenue in Madison in May.
Police say there was an argument in the home between Flinn and a resident when Flinn shot two of the residents. Police later found one of the victims slumped over the steering wheel of a car at the intersection of Pierce and Sylvia.
The other victim was found at Kate Street, also driving himself while seriously injured. Both men were transferred to hospitals for treatment.
While back at the shooting scene, witnesses identified Flinn as the shooter, adding his girlfriend was present with her four-year-old child during the shooting and fled with Flinn in a Ford Flex.
Both Rock and Flinn are facing two counts each of aggravated assault for the shooting.
