Two charged in shooting of a woman on Litton Avenue
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
Police charged Quindarius Jordan, 18 with aggravated assault and felony weapon possession on Thursday for the shooting of a 62-year-old woman.
The woman, Marilyn Jenkins, was sitting outside on Litton Avenue around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday when she was shot in the hip. She is receiving treatment at Skyline Medical Center.
According to police, Jordan was reportedly shooting at someone else when Jenkins was hit. Jordan reportedly fled the scene in a silver Chevrolet Cobalt.
Officers spotted the vehicle shortly after on Gallatin Avenue. Jordan's twin brother, Quintarius Jordan, was driving the car. A pistol was recovered from under Quindarius Jordan's seat.
Quintarius Jordan was arrested for being an accessory to the crime.
