Top 11 places to watch this month's total solar eclipse in Portland, Tenn.

Portland, Tennessee, sits in the path of totality for this month's solar eclipse, and the city is hosting events to get neighbors a front row seat.

The Great American Eclipse will pass over most of middle Tennessee on August 21, leaving Portland in totality for 2 minutes and 26 seconds according to city officials.

Portland's Chamber of Commerce lists 11 viewing spots for small town neighbors and visitors looking to soak up every minute of the total solar eclipse.

1. Richland Park

At 303 Portland Blvd., the viewing event offers food, restrooms, playground, eclipse t-shirts for sale, and free parking.

2. Meadowbrook Park

At 700 S. Broadway, viewers will have restrooms, playground, and free parking.

3. Days Gone By Museum

At 122 Davis Street, viewers will have restrooms, playground, and free parking.

4. Portland High School

At 600 College Street, viewers will have free parking.

5. Bottom View Farm

At 185 Wilkerson Lane, viewers will have food, restrooms, kids' activities, $10 Parking.

6. First Baptist Church, Portland, TN

At 106 N. Broadway, viewers will have free parking.

7. Portland Church of Christ

At 200 N. Russell Street, viewers will have free parking.

8. Liberty Church Portland, TN

At 891 College Street, viewers will have restrooms, air conditioning, water, WIFI, and limited free parking.

9. The Red Barn At Crafton Farms

At 209 Crafton Road, viewers will have restrooms, $20 Parking, and the first 100 people will receive eclipse glasses.

10. Second Wind Farm

At 2189 Highway 76, viewers will have restrooms, food, and $10 parking.

11. Sumner Crest Winery

At 5306 Old Highway 52, viewers are being offered a 'Toast to Totality' VIP package ($30) and parking ($20).
