NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The search for a missing Maury County teen who is the subject of a Tennessee AMBER ALERT led to the arrest of a woman wanted in Williamson County.

According to the arrest report from Murfreesboro Police, an officer was approached by a taxi driver on Monday and was told by the driver there was a female who appeared to be "the girl that was abducted from Maury" near 115 SE Broad Street.

The officer drove to the location and identified a white female who the officer says matched the description of Elizabeth Thomas. The woman was not the missing teen, but instead identified as Mackenzie Vaughter. Police ran a check on Vaughter and found she had warrant from Williamson County for violation of probation.

Vaughter was taken into custody and transported to the Rutherford County Jail.
