Three students arrested following unfounded threat at Gallatin High School
GALLATIN, Tenn. (WZTV) —
Three students were arrested following a shooting threat made to Gallatin High School.
The investigation into the threat deemed it false, but parents were sent home a notice to parents on Monday regarding the report.
Through tips, police said they were able to track down the students who posted the threat on social media and arrested them on Tuesday. The post in question involved a pellet or air-soft rifle and ammo.
The Sumner County Sheriff's Office, Gallatin Police and Sumner County Schools are still investigating.
Charges are still pending against the students. They are not allowed to return to Gallatin High School.
