Thousands attend President Donald Trump's Nashville rally

Thousands of people came out for President Donald Trump's rally in Nashville.

Supporters stood in line for hours all in hopes of hearing the president's speech. Metro Police said one of the first people in line got to Municipal Auditorium at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Doors to event opened at 3:30 p.m. and the president was slated to speak around 6:30 p.m.

People from Middle Tennessee and other states braved the cold temperatures to stand in the line that spanned for than 1/2 mile.

Among the crowd were supporters dressed up as "Uncle Sam" and even a President Trump impersonator.

Inside the rally, supporters continued be be lively while they awaited the presidential speech.
