Tennessee residents shot, zip tied by robbers posing as bail bondsmen
SPRINGFIELD, Tenn.--Police have arrested one of two individuals who posed as bail bonds men, tied up and robbed home owners.
The brazen robbery took place on Tuesday night at a home located at 1305 Batts Boulevard. Police say two individuals posed as the bail bonds men then forced their way into the home.
Once inside, they tied everyone in the home up with zip ties and attempted to rob the home owners. During the robbery, a female was shot in the arm and another person shot multiple times.
Police responded to the shots fired call and were able to arrest 34-year-old William Troup for especially aggravated burglary and criminal attempt to commit first degree murder. The other suspect has not been captured.
