Teen injured in Nashville drive-by shooting

Metro Nashville Police said a teen was injured in a drive-by shooting in Nashville on Friday.

Officers responded to a report of a juvenile shot on 25th Avenue North around 5:45 p.m. Police said a teen and three other juveniles were walking near McKissack Park when a car pulled up and fired several rounds at them.

One teen was shot and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said they do not have any evidence to indicate this shooting is connected to another shooting a few hours earlier at nearby Pearl Cohn High School.

Youth services and CSI were on the scene to investigate.

Police have not given any additional information about the shooting or the people involved.
