Target recalls 175,000 dressers due to tip-over, entrapment hazard

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Target is recalling 175,000 four-drawer dressers due to tip-over and entrapment hazards according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The Room Essentials dressers were sold at Target stores nationwide and on the company's website from January 13, 2013 through April 2016.

The company has received 12 reports of the dressers tipping or collapsing, including tipping over on two 3-year-old kids. No injuries have been reported.

The dressers came in black, espresso, and maple colors. Anyone with the affected products should keep children away from having access to the dresser unless properly anchored to the wall.

Customers can return the dresser to any Target store for a full refund.

The affected products have model numbers of 249-05-0103 (black), 249-05-0106 (espresso), or 249-05-0109 (maple).
