VIDEO: Swift water rescue made in Dickson County
DICKSON, Tenn. -- A swift water rescue of two people is made in Dickson County today.
A man and woman attempted to drive their truck across Sam Hollow Road, which was covered by water from Garners Creek on Saturday afternoon. The Dickson County Fire & Rescue assisted the Tennessee City Fire Department in the rescue of the victims who were on top of the truck that had moved down stream when they arrived.
Members from a next door camp helped emergency responders pull the victims to shore. The man and woman, who is pregnant, were not injured, according to DCFR.
The road is now closed, according to the Dickson County Fire & Rescue.
