Employee shot, suspect in custody after fight at Spring Hill Burger King

Spring Hill Police said one suspect is in custody after a shooting involving employees at the Burger King Thursday night.

A Spring Hill Police Spokesperson said they responded to the Burger King on Port Royal Road for a shooting just after 8 p.m.

Police said two employees got in a fight inside the Burger King possibly related to an employment issue, and one person fired shots.

Crews on the scene said life flight arrived on the scene as well, and the victim is believed to be in stable condition.

Officers could not confirm how many times the employee was shot. Several restaurant employees were inside the Burger King at the time of the shooting.

Police have not given any additional information about the suspect in custody or extent of the victim's injuries.

Spring Hill Police and several other law enforcement agencies were on the scene Thursday night.
