SKYWatch17: Storms possible for middle Tennessee through 4th of July
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain in the forecast almost each and every day throughout next week.
Most showers and thunderstorms will pop up during the afternoon heat with a few in the evening hours.
Rain may be heavy within some of the storms that develop, especially west of I-65. Storms could be strong with high winds, heavy rainfall, and localized flooding.
Fourth of July
Fourth of July is looking warm with a high near 86 and about a 60 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms.
Most of the storms are expected in the morning and early afternoon. Rains should taper off from east to west throughout the day with a few lingering showers around fireworks time.
