Silver Alert canceled, missing Wilson County man found safe
WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. —
Wilson County officials said a missing man was found safe overnight Thursday.
A Silver Alert was issued for Oscar Allen after he never arrived for a vehicle appointment earlier in the day.
Emergency officials said Allen has since been found and is safe.
Wilson County deputies are looking for a missing 78-year-old man last seen on Thursday.
According to the Wilson County Sheriff's Office, Oscar Allen was last seen driving a blue Hyundai Santa Fe and left from a home near Gladeville.
Deputies said he left the home to do some errands in Lebanon and Mt. Juliet with plans to take his car to an emissions test station. He never arrived for the emissions test.
He is described as a while man with brown eyes, gray hair, standing 5'9 and weighing 170 lbs. He is believed to be wearing a blue sweatshirt over a while collared shirt and glasses.
