Police investigating after Middle Tennessee man found dead in wooded area
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department is investigating how a 37-year-old resident died after his body was found in a wooded area.
Police say on Sunday, just before dark, deputies were dispatched to the area of Long Branch Road in Leoma.
Police identified the man as Dustin Lee Sanker of Madison. A Lawrence County native, police say Sanker spends a "considerable amount of time" in the county.
Sanker's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
