Police arrest Goodlettsville Amber Alert suspect in Smyrna after high speed chase
SMYRNA, Tenn. —
A spokesperson for the City of La Vergne said an Amber Alert suspect was arrested in Smyrna on Tuesday.
Keith Tansil, 32, was accused of taking three young boys from their home in Goodlettsville over the weekend. The three boys, under the age of four, were found safe about 40 minutes after the alert was issued early Sunday morning.
Tansil was arrested Tuesday on South Lowery Street in Smyrna after a high speed chase in Rutherford County. The chase started in Davidson County with the U.S Marshal's Office.
La Vergne officers joined the chase after Tansil entered the city limits. He was eventually boxed in my officers on South Lowery Street.
