Nearly 1 pound of powder cocaine seized in Nashville drug bust

Metro Police said nearly a pound of powder cocaine was found during a drug bust.

Samuel Mendoza, 33, is charged with possession of cocaine for resale in a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Drummond Drive. West Precinct officers investigating cocaine distribution in the are found nearly a pound of powder cocaine, digital scales, a vacuum sealer and other items regarding narcotics.

Mendoza is jailed on a $105,000 bond.
