Nashville Police look for burglar who killed man, stole PlayStation and Air Jordans
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
Metro Nashville Police are looking to for a burglar who murdered a man during a burglary at a Hermitage home on Monday morning.
Police said Marvin Lee Hughes,39, was found dead by his school-age niece around 3:45 p.m. A neighbor told police they heard a loud bang that could have been a gunshot between 10 and 11 a.m. at the home on Misty Cape Cove.
Detectives believe the burglar entered the home through an unlocked door. Officers found the top level of the home ransacked and believe the burglar stole Air Jordan athletic shoes and a PlayStation console.
