Nashville Police arrest two for decapitation murder
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Police have identified and arrested two people responsible for the murder of a man on S. 4th Street on Thursday.
Police have arrested 31-year-old Lewis Shuler and 25-year-old Tiffany Biggs after victim Tremayne Cross was found partially decapitated on South 4th Street.
According to MNPD, Tremayne Cross died after he was found lying near a dumpster with a severe neck laceration. Police said Cross was living with his girlfriend at the complex and Shuler and Biggs lived nearby. Evidence shows Cross left with Shuler and Biggs in a Dodge Charger which traveled to the area where Biggs was found.
Shuler and Biggs then drove back to the complex before setting the car on fire on Mildred Shute Avenue.
Police arrived on the scene just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Cross died in surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Shuler and Biggs are each being held on $1 million bond.
