Nashville mother and daughter charged with possession of 33 grams heroin, 83 grams cocaine
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A Nashville mother and daughter were arrested by Metro Police on Tuesday after 83 grams of cocaine, 33 grams of heroin, and a weapon were found by Gang Unit detectives.
According to the arrest affidavits for 31-year-old Erica Doss and 48-year-old Mary Manley, detectives issued the search warrant at Doss's Dellway Villa Road residence.
Inside, detectives say they found Doss with three other women and an infant girl. Police found 9 baggies of cocaine totaling 83 grams. Another baggie contained 33 grams of heroin.
A further search of the residence resulted in police finding $2,270 in cash on the kitchen counter, a ledger recording marijuana drug sales, and a .45 caliber handgun.
Both women allegedly told police the drugs and gun were left at the residence by their "source" and denied ownership.
Both women were charged with possession of cocaine and heroin in a drug free school zone and weapons charges.
