Nashville murder suspect sprays deputy's face with bottle full of urine, feces
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
A Nashville man jailed on murder charges sprayed a deputy's face with a squirt bottle full of urine and feces, an affidavit said.
Chad Edwards is now charged with assault, on top of two first-degree murder charges.
According to an affidavit, Edwards pulled the squirt bottle filled with urine and feces from his jumpsuit while the deputy was trying to transport him outside for recreation time. Edwards then sprayed the deputy's face with the contents of the bottle.
Edwards is currently awaiting trial for the 2016 murder of Corvel Conley, 21, inside a car at the intersection of Rural Hill Road and Bridgecrest Drive. Jary Martinez, 20, is also charged with murder in the case.
