Nashville man found with 25 pounds of marijuana

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police have arrested a 38-year-old after finding 25 pounds of marijuana in the closet of his Jonesboro Drive home.

According to the arrest affidavit for Christopher D. Moore, narcotics detectives served a warrant at the home on Monday, locating a 5 gallon bucket in his bedroom closet containing several pounds of marijuana and a vacuum sealer.

A continued search then revealed a large duffel bag with several more pounds of marijuana. Outside, detectives found marijuana inside luggage stashed in a shed in the backyard.

In total, police seized 25 pounds of marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun. Moore is being held at the Davidson County Jail on charges of possession, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and weapon possession.
