Nashville man arrested for sexual exploitation of minors
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
A Nashville man was arrested Tuesday around 3:00 for possession of sexual images/videos of minors.
According to police, Dropbox Inc. issued a report to the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) stating that one of their users contained sexual images and videos of minor children. The screen name of the user was "Carlos Cordoba."
A metro detective executed a search warrant and found several hundreds of sexual images and videos of minor children after investigation. The account was traced to a home on Chickasaw Ave.
On Tuesday, the detective conducted a search warrant at Chickasaw Avenue. After interviewing the suspect, Carlos Carrillo, he confessed to having the Dropbox account and viewing, receiving, and trading sexual images and videos of minor children for the past year.
Carrillo's phone was also seized during the search with more images and videos of children saved in a new Dropbox account on that device.
Per police, Carrillo is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.
