NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
Metro Police said a Nashville gas station clerk was arrested after shooting at a man who had fled the store with an 18-pack of beer without paying for it.
It happened about 2:30 a.m. Friday morning at the Kwik Sak at 2012 S. Hamilton Road.
Clerk Said Hermina, 31, is charged with aggravated assault for shooting at suspect Jerry Smith Jr., 44, who was charged with misdemeanor theft for taking the beer worth $17.99.

Smith has since been treated and released for his injuries.
