More arrests made in kidnapping case that started at TSU, ended at Nashville park
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
More people have been arrested in a kidnapping and assault that started on the TSU campus.
Trezon Peoples and Devlon Barnes have now been charged in the case.
A total of seven people, including some TSU students, are charged. The other suspects include Armon Hickson, Robert Crisp, Devon Butts, Nakia Robinson and Devonte Freeman. It happened just outside Boyd Hall on Sept. 19.
Affidavits say the suspects put a gun in the face of student, forced him into a car, took him to Centennial Park and beat him up.
Peoples is scheduled to be in court Thursday morning and Barnes is scheduled to be in court on Friday. Both men are facing aggravated kidnapping charges.
