Metro Police trying to ID Hermitage bank robber

Metro Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who they said robbed a Hermitage bank Friday morning.

Police said it happened at Fifth Third Bank along Donelson Pike at about 9:15 a.m. A man apparently walked in and handed a bank teller a demand note.

Police said no weapon was seen and the man fled following the robbery.

The robber is described as a white man who wore black clothing. He's believed to have fled in a small, white older-model car.
