Metro Police: 19 year-old killed in accidental shooting Friday morning
NASHVILLE, Tenn. —
Metro Police said a 19-year-old man was killed after a gun discharged when someone tried to take it out of his hand Friday morning.
Malik Khayyam died after the shooting inside a house on the 100 block of Donald Street in the Talbot's Corner area.
Investigators said the pistol discharged when someone tried to get it from Khayyam's hands.
Police said three people who were inside the home at the time of the shooting are cooperating with them.
As of Friday afternoon, police were not seeking any charges.
